Reclaiming Wealth: Financial Literacy as Liberation

Reclaiming Wealth: Financial Literacy as Liberation

Liberation Looks Like Financial Power
This post is for every soul who’s ever been made to feel like wealth wasn’t meant for them. For every generation taught to survive, not thrive. For every Black woman, mother, creative, or healer learning to take up space in financial rooms that were never built for us.

On Juneteenth, we honor freedom. And true freedom—generational freedom—requires literacy. Not just in history, but in money. In credit. In assets. In ownership. In legacy.

Why Financial Literacy Is Spiritual Work:

  • It breaks generational curses.
  • It helps you keep what you earn.
  • It creates options: to rest, to walk away, to say no.
  • It builds beyond you—into the future you may never see, but always hoped for.

Core Concepts to Understand:

  • Assets vs. Liabilities: Assets make you money. Liabilities drain it.
  • Good Debt vs. Bad Debt: Not all debt is evil—but uneducated debt is dangerous.
  • Credit Is Leverage: When used right, it builds wealth. When ignored, it limits freedom.
  • Income Streams: Most wealthy people don’t rely on just one. You don’t have to either.

Learn With Me:

💼 I created a beginner-friendly Intro to Financial Literacy Course just for this purpose.
It’s not full of jargon or fluff—it’s straight-forward, empowering, and made for those ready to change their money story.

You deserve to know how to make, move, and multiply money. Not for greed—but for liberation.

Reflect With Me:

  • Were you ever taught about money growing up?
  • What financial habits have you inherited—and which ones are you ready to release?
  • What would wealth really look like for your bloodline?
